HOW I MADE MONEY FROM THE RATIO WHILE UNEMPLOYED
Amount $CRV : Depends on your budget, around 5k or more
Because the Ratio of cvxCRV fluctuates constantly around the 0.39–0.45 range,
when the ratio is between 0.4 and 0.42, I split up my CRV and buy in portions.
For example: at 0.41, I use 1K CRV to swap for cvxCRV.
If the price drops to 0.4, I use another 1K to buy more.
If it goes up, I swap cvxCRV for CRV. If I can swap for 1040, that’s a profit of 40 CRV.
I keep DCAing like this. If the price keeps falling, I use that money to stake and earn fees, then wait for the ratio to recover. That way, I earn from staking and make a profit from the ratio too.
With this strategy, I made 35M over 4 months of trading, using 22k CRV.
If you’re patient, you can make even more. At one point, the ratio reached 0.5.
I wasn’t patient enough, though, so I swapped in portions. The profit was better: #RatioTrade
