A developer known as hashfunction has posted metadata for about 5.6 billion public TikTok videos on Hugging Face, where it is available to download for free. According to NS3.AI, the dataset covers July 2014 through October 2026 and includes metadata rather than video footage.

The dataset card allows free research and personal use under a non-commercial license, while commercial users are directed to DataSocial. DataSocial separately sells the scraper's source code for $1,699. TikTok's U.S. terms prohibit automated data extraction without TikTok's written approval.
