Late-night U.S. market, and these two stories are interesting when you look at them together.

The Winklevoss brothers filed an S-1 with the SEC for a spot ZEC ETF, planning to list it on Nasdaq under the ticker WINK. Privacy coins are making it into ETFs now—$ZEC , this narrative is going full throttle. The old guard really is lining up to stuff mainstream coins one by one into Wall Street’s wrappers.

Meanwhile, Saylor has fired up the machine again: $STRC in IPO proceeds went straight into buying 21,021 $BTC . Issuing preferred stock to swap for Bitcoin—he’s getting more and more practiced at this play. The 21 million cap remains unchanged.

But the macro backdrop is a real bucket of cold water: the 10-year Treasury yield hit 5.34%, a new high for the year, and the market is starting to price in a December rate hike. Tankers are being hit one after another near the Strait of Hormuz, oil is hovering around $100, and gold is wavering around 4,200.

My take: ETF adoption is fuel for a slow bull market in the long run, but in the short term, $BTC needs to withstand the blade of interest rates first. Don’t rush to buy the dip—let the dust settle.
