🚀 Imperial raises US$ 1,5 million to expand perpetual futures on Solana

Imperial, a perpetual futures trading platform built on the Solana network, has just received a new boost in the crypto market.
The company raised US$ 1,5 million in a seed round, reaching a valuation of approximately US$ 15 million.
The round was led by Foundation Capital, with participation from other investors, reinforcing market interest in decentralized derivatives trading platforms.
Perpetual futures allow traders to speculate on an asset’s price rising or falling without owning the asset directly and, in many cases, using leverage.
Imperial’s goal is to leverage Solana’s speed and low costs to offer a more efficient and competitive trading experience.
The investment comes amid growth in the DeFi and crypto derivatives sectors, an area attracting ever more capital and developers.
But a word of caution: perpetual futures involve high risk, especially when leverage is used. Gains can come quickly, but so can losses.

And you: would you use a decentralized futures platform on Solana?
