$MOVR The broader market is rising, but this one is falling: down 12.6% in 24h, currently at 1.85—just a hair above the daily low of 1.83.

Price action: On Gate perpetuals, it was still above 2.1 at 11 p.m. last night, then fell below 2 at 2 a.m. It bounced to 2.06 at 9 a.m. but couldn’t hold, and plunged back to 1.90 at 10 a.m. Around 1 p.m., roughly 370,000 U in volume accompanied a breakdown; at 2 p.m. it hit the daily low of 1.83. Around 6 p.m., a roughly 270,000 U bounce took it to 1.974, but it was quickly pushed back down. After 10 p.m., it kept grinding around 1.85. The 24h range was about 16%, volume was around 5.6 million U, and the funding rate was -0.096% (8h).

Why: BTC is up 1.2% at 86,558, and capital is flowing into major coins and U.S. stock-index futures, leaving small caps like MOVR without buyers. Each rebound high has been lower than the last: 2.06, 1.974, 1.933—pressure is building all the way down. With the funding rate this negative, shorts are already crowded, so don’t go too heavy chasing the downside.

Bottom line: Don’t buy the dip. If it breaks below 1.83, take a small short and target 1.75; if it gets back above 1.93, admit you’re wrong and exit. If you’re already long, consider trimming near 1.90 on a bounce.
