Not directly. Under the planned setup, each party has a clear role:

  • Clearpool: provides the lending platform

  • Cicada Partners: audits and underwrites borrowers

  • Ripple: participates as a limited partner

  • Hex Trust: handles custody and compliance

All financing is planned in RLUSD, Ripple’s dollar stablecoin, not XRP. So the expansion does not create the same direct demand for the XRP token.

The lending framework also depends on two new XRPL standards, XLS-65 and XLS-66. Both were in Devnet testing in early October. They need approval from 80% of validators before going live on mainnet.

XRP itself is drifting lower. It trades near $1.49, down about 1.7% over 24 hours, with a market cap of about $94.4 billion. The four-hour chart shows XRP stuck between $1.45 and $1.55 since September 25.

CPOOL trades near $0.0366. That followed a breakout from a year-long range between roughly $0.013 and $0.020.

The token sat above its medium-term moving average near $0.0282. The next major resistance zone stands near $0.101
