$龙虾 Whale movements and distribution
Concentration is very high, which is common among meme coins:
The top 5–10 addresses control a large share of the supply (often liquidity pool contracts, exchange wallets, and a few large wallets).
Approximate data from CryptoRank/Arkham: the single largest holder (sometimes an unclassified wallet) holds tens of millions of tokens (around 34% in some snapshots, or large amounts held by exchange wallets such as Gate).
Exchanges such as Gate, MEXC, and Binance Wallet show significant flows (increases or decreases in holdings of tens of percent over short periods).
Recent example (early October): a known whale (58bro.eth) withdrew a large amount (~3.55 million tokens) from Gate at ~$0.085, then returned them at ~$0.028, resulting in an estimated loss of ~$200,000 in less than 20 hours amid a rise followed by a sharp crash.
Most holders are small “shrimp,” while a handful of whales/dolphins control most of the supply outside contracts and exchanges.
This concentration means that any large buy or sell by a whale or exchange can move the price significantly.
