⚠️ BTC is hovering around the 86,000 level. How much longer can the bulls hold on?

📊 Market snapshot:
BTC $86,120 | 24h +0.12% | Range 84,972–86,999
ETH $2,707 | 24h -0.26% | Range 2,679–2,730

1️⃣ Wyckoff perspective:
BTC rebounded from 83,664 on the daily chart, then surged on high volume to 86,800 on October 4 before pulling back. It is currently in a short-term distribution range. On the 4-hour chart, two false breakouts near 86,400 (2B sell signals) suggest significant resistance at the previous high of 87,220. If BTC fails to break above 87K on high volume, it will likely enter a reaccumulation phase or move straight into distribution and decline.

2️⃣ 2B rule assessment:
Two 2B sell signals appeared on the 4-hour chart at 86,130 and 86,409—the price briefly broke above the previous high, then quickly pulled back and closed below it. This is a classic bearish reversal signal. A 2B buy signal appeared at 85,136, forming short-term support. The 86,000–86,400 area is currently a key battleground between bulls and bears.

3️⃣ Dow Theory:
Daily chart: From the October 2 high of 87,220 to the October 5 low of 84,972, the pullback was about 2.6%, and the uptrend structure remains intact. However, on the 4-hour chart, the highs and lows are converging, with neither a new high nor a new low—price is at a directional inflection point. ETH is also weak and has failed to lead the rally, so confirmation remains insufficient.

🛡️ Trading strategy:
• Aggressive: Test a small long position at 85,000–85,200, with a stop-loss below 84,700
• Conservative: Go long after a confirmed break above 87,220, or open a short if price falls below 84,450
• Watch ETH support at 2,680; if it fails, the next level to watch is 2,650
• Volume is currently low amid choppy trading. Manage position sizes and avoid chasing rallies or selling into dips
