Institutional accumulation in FIL continues to accelerate!

The whale long/short ratio climbed steadily from 2.11 to 2.36 over six hours, with the latest reading at 2.3647. More than 70% of accounts are long, a high for this cycle. OI rose steadily from 57.84 million to 59.10 million tokens, increasing every hour. Taker buying has dominated for three consecutive hours, with the ratio peaking at 1.19x. Vesting expires on October 15, and annualized new issuance will be cut by 75%—institutions have already factored in this supply shock.

ORCA just broke through the $100 million OI mark, rising from $86.61 million to $100.83 million, up 16% in six hours. The whale long/short ratio rebounded from a shakeout low of 1.17 to 1.22, signaling that the shakeout is over. The earlier decline in volume was accumulation; now OI is steadily climbing.

The contract setups for both are clean, unlike RLC, which is being distributed as it rises. FIL is waiting for price and volume to align further, while ORCA is waiting for the whale LSR to break above 1.3 for confirmation.
