🍄 Mushrooms and Crypto: Don’t Eat the Forecast

In April 2026, Peter Brandt advised Bitcoin enthusiasts to “stop taking magic mushrooms.”

Sounds harsh. But the metaphor hits the mark.
On the crypto market, sometimes just a few green candles are enough to make an investor think they can see the future:
🍄 BTC is guaranteed to hit $1 million.
🍄 Every dip is the “last chance to buy.”
🍄 Every piece of news is bullish.
🍄 Criticism is FUD.
🍄 Risk? “This time is different.”

That’s how market hallucinations are born—not analysis.
Bitcoin can be a strong asset. Its limited supply is a fact. Demand is real. But that doesn’t mean its price will rise forever or without deep corrections.

FACT → MECHANISM → HYPOTHESIS

Fact: BTC has a limited supply.

Mechanism: Scarcity + demand can support the price.

Hypothesis: In the long term, this could contribute to growth.

But a hypothesis ≠ a guarantee.

DVA CHECK:
What do I know?
What am I merely assuming?
What data supports this?
What could invalidate my thesis?

If your answer is “BTC can’t fall,” maybe it’s time to check whether 🍄 have started growing in your portfolio.

You don’t have to be a bear. You don’t have to be a fanatic. You need to stay an investor.

Not financial advice.
Preserving value and time.
