Odaily Planet Daily reports that Vitalik Buterin reposted an update on Nethermind’s development, saying that Nethermind is continuing to improve Ethereum’s efficiency and speed. Nethermind core developer Ben Adams said that its Beacon Chain plugin has completed synchronization and is ready for the Glamsterdam fork on Sepolia. Running Ethereum’s execution and consensus layers as a single application appears to incur no significant additional memory overhead. The Ethereum Foundation previously confirmed that Glamsterdam will activate on Sepolia on October 6, and Nethermind 2.1.0 already supports the upgrade.
