OpenAI isn’t even public yet, and its valuation has doubled again?

According to Bloomberg, OpenAI @OpenAI is discussing a new funding round of at least $30 billion, at a pre-money valuation of around $1.4 trillion.
A UAE fund led by Abu Dhabi’s MGX is putting in up to $10 billion, and BlackRock will also participate.

The craziest part is that OpenAI set the price for this round itself: take it or leave it.
And its post-money valuation was only $852 billion in March—nearly doubling in just over half a year.

Why does it feel like AI has become a game of hot potato among institutions?
How many trillions will it be by the time retail investors are left holding the bag?

This is where the crypto world’s innovation comes in:
Buy OpenAI contracts early and you’re guaranteed to make money with no risk,
since its valuation can only go up before the IPO, right?
