BNB is hovering just below $800, but the real ticking time bomb is how crowded the long side is.

It’s been grinding around $780, just a hair away from $800, but it just can’t break through.

I took a look at the data, and it sent a chill down my spine: 69% of retail traders are long, and even the so-called “smart money” is 68% long. Everyone’s crowded onto the same boat, but buy orders are drying up—for every $1 in aggressive buying, there’s $1.17 in selling pressure.

This script feels all too familiar. It’s either the calm before a huge rally or the night before a liquidation cascade. If $800 breaks, everyone celebrates. If it doesn’t, the longs will take each other out—and $750 is next.

Also, BNB’s 37th quarterly burn is coming up, probably in mid-October. Burns are good, but everyone already knows about it, so it’s priced in.
