🚨 BTC at $85.5K — What Happens Next?

Bitcoin is sitting in a very interesting area right now.

$BTC is trading around $85.5K, but the real battle is happening near $87K–$88K.

Bitcoin has already tried to push through the $87K area and got rejected. That tells me sellers are still defending this zone pretty aggressively.

But there’s another side to the story.

The market has been making higher lows, which shows buyers are still stepping in on dips. So right now, I’m watching the range between $84.5K and $88K very closely.

📈 The levels I’m watching

$87K–$88K:
This is the main resistance. If BTC breaks above it and actually holds, the next areas I’d watch are around $90K and potentially $93K–$94.5K.

$84.5K:
This is an important short-term support zone. Losing it could bring more selling pressure and put $82.6K back on the radar.

Why I’m still watching the bullish side

Bitcoin has made a strong recovery from its 2026 lows, and the broader technical structure has improved.

There’s also been a shift in expectations around U.S. interest rates, which can matter a lot for risk assets like crypto.

But I wouldn’t call this a confirmed breakout yet.

For me, the biggest question right now is simple:

Can $BTC turn $87K from resistance into support?

If yes, the next move could get interesting.

If not, I wouldn’t be surprised to see another pullback before the next attempt.
