Bitcoin got pushed down again at $ 87000, while the stock market is clearly hovering near all-time highs. It just won't go up.

Honestly, I've seen this kind of “should be going up but isn't” action plenty of times. The tail end of the 2017 bull run was like this too—the news was all good, but the price just kept dragging its feet, until you started questioning everything. Then came a huge crash to tell you, “What were you expecting?”

But I don't dare say “this is the top” right now. Back in 2017, I also watched it fail to rise and said, “It's probably due for a pullback, right?” Then it surged for another three months. I got my face slapped pretty badly.

I'm looking at $ 87000 now with a spectator's mindset: the bulls can't break through, and the bears don't dare dump hard either. So they just keep grinding it out. How long will it last? No idea. All I know is I'm watching from the sidelines, itching to get in but keeping my feet planted.
