According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on October 6, Eduardo Antuña, a core contributor to the Ethereum Economic Zone (EEZ), posted on X that the Ethereum mainnet had successfully executed its first atomic cross-chain transaction from L1 to L2. This marks the point at which atomic synchronous composability moves beyond theory and becomes a reality on mainnet.

Eduardo Antuña said this is just the beginning of the EEZ’s efforts to advance the application of this technology.
