AMD Chief Executive Lisa Su said semiconductor demand will remain at a "very high" level for the next several years, driven by growth in artificial intelligence applications. According to Sina Finance, Su said in Taipei that chip demand exceeds supply and that memory chip supply remains tight.

Su also said artificial intelligence is beneficial to the world and will not harm humans. She said cooperation among leading U.S. AI companies is very important, adding that there is still much work to do on safe innovation and that the most important thing is for everyone to work together. Su said the U.S. "superintelligence task force" is an important step forward.
