According to Techub News, Prysm, an Ethereum core validator client, has released the v7.2.1 patch in preparation for the upcoming Glamsterdam upgrade rehearsal on the Sepolia testnet. The test will sharply raise Sepolia’s per-block gas limit from approximately 60 million to 200 million gas, aiming to test how validator hardware withstands loads more than three times higher and assess the feasibility of scaling the mainnet. Officials emphasized that the 200 million gas limit currently applies only to the Sepolia testnet and has not yet been implemented on Ethereum mainnet. (Wu Says Blockchain)
