$BTC reached its all-time high one year ago: Binance spot BTC/USDT touched $126,199.63 during the hour beginning at 18:00 UTC on October 6, 2025 (2:00 a.m. on October 7 in UTC+8). As of 11:00 on October 6, 2026 (UTC+8), BTC was trading at around $85,580, about 32% below its peak, and down roughly 1% over 24 hours.

It’s been a bumpy year. BTC fell below $90,000 in November 2025, hit a low of exactly $60,000 in February 2026, and tested $58,115 in June—about 54% below its peak, the deepest point of this cycle. It began to recover in August, reaching a high of around $87,400 on September 21. Since October began, several attempts to break above $87,000 have failed to hold. BTC has rebounded about 47% from its June low and would need to rise another roughly 47% to return to its previous high.

$ETH also remains below last year’s high: it peaked at around $4,755 in October 2025 and is now trading at about $2,700. BNB peaked at $1,375 in October 2025 and is now around $782, down about 43%. In the previous three cycles, BTC’s maximum declines from its peak ranged from 77% to 85%, and it took 28 to 38 months to reach a new high. This cycle’s deepest decline has been about 54%, and it is currently in its 12th month.
