According to Tech in Asia, fintech startup iPiD (International Payments Identity) announced that it has raised $16 million in a Series A round. The round was led by Foundation Capital, with Citi and HSBC participating as strategic investors. Existing investors QED Investors, Monk’s Hill Ventures, and Quona Capital also joined the round. The company said the funds will be used to deepen its global payments intelligence network, accelerate its expansion in Europe and the United States, and focus on building compliance verification capabilities for U.S. domestic payment rails, stablecoins, and digital asset markets.
