According to Jin10, the center of Typhoon No. 28 Noro, a severe typhoon, was located over the sea about 3,415 kilometers east of Tokyo at 5 a.m. today, with maximum winds near the center reaching force 15 (48 meters per second), a minimum central pressure of 945 hPa, a radius of force-7 winds of 450-500 kilometers, a radius of force-10 winds of 200 kilometers, and a radius of force-12 winds of 80 kilometers. Noro is expected to move westward at 30-35 kilometers per hour, with little change in intensity.
