Binance just launched three AI products in one go, collectively called Binance Intelligence, and made them available to 300 million users.
Each product has a different role. Binance AI is free for everyone. It generates personalized briefings based on your holdings and trading experience, covering everything from crypto and U.S. stocks to macroeconomics. AI Pro is a customized version of CodeX: describe what you want in plain English, and it builds an automated trading workflow for you. Agent OS is open to developers, who can plug in their own AI.
AI Pro is the one to watch. Until now, retail traders who wanted to use quantitative strategies either had to learn to code or buy third-party plugins. They often couldn’t access all the data they needed, and integrations were costly. Now Binance has connected its market data, analytics, and order systems. Say, “Buy more Bitcoin if it drops 5%,” and it builds the workflow for you. That’s what lowering the barrier to entry really looks like.
Even if just 10% of Binance’s 300 million users try it, that would make it the world’s largest AI trading environment. AI used to be the preserve of institutions. Now it’s built right into an exchange, putting a trading assistant at everyone’s fingertips.
But let’s pour some cold water on the hype: an AI-generated trading strategy isn’t necessarily a good one. No matter how convenient the tools are, bad judgment can still cost you money. Binance is giving you the ability to execute—not the ability to profit. Don’t confuse “I can use AI to trade quantitatively” with “I can make money using AI.”
