Gold futures rose during the U.S. session

Gold futures rose during the U.S. session on Monday.
On the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, December gold futures traded at USD4,169.80 per ounce at the time of writing, up 0.31%.

They had previously traded as high as USD4,198.82 per ounce. Gold may find support at USD4151.15 and resistance at USD4259.00.

Dollar Index futures, which measure the U.S. currency's performance against a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.02% to trade at USD101.91.
