$AIN —this move came on pretty suddenly.

15m dropped 4.36% in a straight dump, volume surged to 1.93x, the buy/sell ratio was 0.68, and the net taker flow was -18.8%. The close also broke below the lows of the past 20 or so 5m candles. This isn't an ordinary pullback—someone's dumping.

But what's interesting is that OI is falling too: -0.76% over 15m and -1.14% over 1h, with notional down $1.25 million. Price down + OI down looks more like longs deleveraging than new shorts entering. In other words, this move was driven by stop-losses and position reduction, not by shorts actively building positions.

24h trading volume is still $213 million, so there's still plenty of activity and depth. The trigger was a relative breakout; it ranks 11th across the entire pool for notional change, with an anomaly percentile of 89.3%.

I'm watching two things now: first, whether buyers step in after the drop and whether taker buying can push the buy/sell ratio back above 1; second, if OI keeps falling, deleveraging isn't over yet, so don't rush to buy the dip. On the other hand, if OI stabilizes and price holds sideways, this could just be a shakeout.

I'll keep watching for now—no catching falling knives.
