Scammers love bull markets. More new users means more easy targets. Here are five tricks to watch for:
1. "Guaranteed profit" promises
No one can guarantee returns in crypto. If someone promises 10% a day, it's a trap.
2. Fake support accounts
Binance support will never DM you first asking for your password, 2FA code, or seed phrase. Anyone who does is a scammer.
3. Phishing links
Fake websites copy the real Binance login page. Always type the address yourself or use the official app. Never log in through a link sent in a message.
4. Giveaway scams
"Send 0.1 BTC and get 0.2 back" is never real. Real giveaways don't ask you to send money first.
5. Pump groups
Private groups that say "buy this coin now" are usually insiders selling to you at the top.
My rule: If it creates panic, promises easy money, or asks for your codes, stop and walk away.
