Bitcoin ETFs bring in $292.5 million over two sessions
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded approximately $292.5 million in net inflows during the first two sessions of October. The initial total of $134.4 million was incomplete, as it did not yet include the $158.2 million allocated to BlackRock’s IBIT fund on October 2.
U.S. Bitcoin ETFs attracted $292.5 million in the first two sessions of October.
BlackRock widely led the flows, with $353.8 million brought in by IBIT over two days.
The inflows coincided with a weaker-than-expected U.S. jobs report.
Bitcoin briefly topped $87,000 before returning to around $85,000.
Bitcoin ETFs are coming off a strong September, marked by $2.65 billion in inflows.
Bitcoin ETFs start October with two positive sessions
The funds attracted $102.7 million on October 1, then $189.8 million the following day once data from all issuers had been incorporated. This second estimate replaces the preliminary total of $31.7 million announced before BlackRock’s flow was reported.
The start of the month thus reverses the movement seen in the final session of September. The updated data allow the sequence to be summarized as follows:
$148.7 million flowed out on September 30;
$102.7 million flowed in on October 1;
$189.8 million was added on October 2;
The total for the first two sessions reached $292.5 million;
ETFs have now recorded inflows for two consecutive days.
The $134.4 million figure came from adding Thursday’s $102.7 million to a partial total of $31.7 million for Friday. It was not a calculation error, but a snapshot taken before IBIT’s data had been received.
