🚨 ARBITRUM HALTED NEW STYLUS CONTRACTS OVER AI-GENERATED ATTACKS 🤖
On October 2, the Arbitrum Security Council paused activation of new Stylus contracts on the One and Nova networks. The reason: attacks using manually written WASM code, which AI can now generate more easily—and which could slow down the network for all users 🛡️
The key point: no funds have been found stolen ✅ Existing contracts, Solidity, and new token listings are unaffected. The pause is temporary and can be lifted with a configuration change, without a network upgrade.
$ARB is currently around $0.2034, near support at $0.195 📉
📍 Setup:
Entry: $0.1980 – $0.2035
TP: $0.2150 / $0.2380
SL: $0.1900
Is this a sensible precaution or a sign that AI attacks on L2 are only just beginning? 👇
