Nvidia closed up 1.3% on Friday, ending a seven-week consolidation and lifting its market value to nearly $5.7 trillion. According to Sina Finance, options pricing suggests the company has about a 50% chance of topping $6 trillion by the end of this month, a 13% chance of reaching that level this week, and roughly a 67% chance of doing so before December 18.

The article said options market pricing also implies about a one-in-six chance that Nvidia will reach a $7 trillion market value before November 20. Based on the current share count, the stock would need to rise to $248 to hit that threshold.

Ben Emons, managing director at NewEdge Wealth, said Nvidia's share buyback plan was a highlight and reflected confidence in long-term artificial intelligence demand. The article also noted that Barchart data show some of Nvidia's call options currently carry higher implied volatility than comparable put options, indicating traders are leaning toward hedging upside moves.
