Meme short-term sentiment: how’s it looking today?
If the leader isn’t seeing volume, I’m not listening to a single story about small-cap coins.
For memes, first check whether the leader has volume, then see whether the small-cap coins dare to follow.
PEPE 0.00000451 (+5.37%), WIF 0.2582 (+4.96%), BONK 0.00000398 (+4.74%), SHIB 0.00000595 (+4.39%)
For comparison: BTC 85972 (24h +0.84%).
PEPE is clearly outperforming BTC, up +5.37% over 24h versus BTC’s +0.84%, which points to independent buying. But DOGE is up only +2.54%, so there’s no sector-wide rally. I’m sticking to the leaders—no fantasies about laggards catching up.
BTC is still at 85972 (+0.84%). Until BTC breaks above 86,660, I’ll treat meme coins’ moves as noise.
If the gap between the leader and the weakest coin narrows to within 2 percentage points, the independent buying is gone, and I’ll close the position.
