⚠️ BTC repeatedly tests the $86K support. Can the bulls hold it, or are they building strength for a breakdown?

📊 Market Snapshot
BTC: $86,010 | 24H +0.86% | H:86,999 L:85,094
ETH: $2,714 | 24H +0.44% | H:2,739 L:2,692

BTC has been ranging between 85,000 and 87,000 for several 4H candles, with a clear tug-of-war between buyers and sellers and steadily declining volume.

1️⃣ Wyckoff Perspective
After pulling back from 87,000, BTC has formed a sideways accumulation structure in the 85,400–86,500 range. It has consolidated within a narrow range for several consecutive 4H candles, with lows gradually rising to around 85,400. This fits the transition from Phase C to Phase D of Wyckoff accumulation: selling pressure is easing, but buyers have yet to step in decisively. A high-volume breakout above 87,000 would confirm the start of the markup phase; a break below 85,000 on rising volume could signal a continuation of the decline.

ETH is also consolidating in the 2,690–2,740 range. Its price action is weaker than BTC’s, so watch for the risk of a catch-up decline.

2️⃣ 2B Rule Assessment
BTC has repeatedly bounced quickly after touching around 85,400, but each rebound has been weaker (86,500 → 86,250 → 86,010). The lows have not made new lows, but the highs continue to fall. No valid 2B pattern has appeared on the 4H chart yet—a drop below the previous low of 84,500 followed by a quick recovery is needed to confirm a 2B reversal. For now, this looks more like buyers and sellers wearing each other down in a weak range.

The 2,700 level is also a key reference point for ETH; a break below followed by a reclaim would form a 2B signal.

3️⃣ Dow Theory
On the daily chart, BTC remains in a downtrend. Watch the 84,500–85,000 area below as support, where previous lows overlap. The rising-low structure on the 4H chart remains intact, but the 87,000–88,000 resistance zone above forms a ceiling for a secondary rally under Dow Theory. If BTC cannot break above 87,000 on strong volume, the rebound should be viewed only as a correction within the downtrend.

ETH’s daily lows are gradually moving lower, keeping its primary trend bearish under Dow Theory. The short-term rebound is a technical recovery.

🛡️ Trading Strategy
• BTC’s key support is 85,000; a break below could lead to the 84,000–84,500 range
• Resistance above is at 87,000–88,000; a breakout needs confirmation from strong volume
• Aggressive traders may try a small long position near 85,000, with a stop-loss at 84,200
• Conservative traders should wait for a clear direction before entering; the current range favors staying on the sidelines
• ETH is weaker than BTC, so approach long positions with caution and watch whether it holds 2,700
