Today, weโre focusing on one of the most important ones:
๐ง Liquidity โ Liquidity
Price doesnโt always move randomly from one level to another.
Sometimes, price moves toward areas with a large number of orders or significant interest from market participants.
And this is where smart analysis begins.
๐ Where do we look for liquidity?
Often around:
๐ Clear highs
๐ Clear lows
๐ Major resistance levels
๐ Below support levels
๐ Clear Volatility and Consolidation Zones
๐ฏ Example:
Letโs assume BTC has a clear high at $100,000.
The market sees this high.
There may be different orders around it from traders, as well as open positions.
Then the following happens:
100K โ 100.8K โ 99.5K
Price broke above the highโฆ
Then it quickly fell back below it.
This may be a Liquidity Sweep โ a sweep of liquidity.
But โ ๏ธ donโt immediately say:
โThe whales manipulated the market!โ
Because the move alone doesnโt prove that.
๐ง The key difference:
Liquidity Sweep
Price breaks above a clear level, then fails to hold above it.
Instead:
Breakout
Price breaks above the level and tries to hold above it, and a successful retest may follow.
But even a breakout is not guaranteed.
๐ฅ What does a smart trader do?
It doesnโt try to guess the whalesโ intentions.
Instead, it watches:
Level โ Liquidity โ Price Action โ Volume โ Retest โ Market Structure
Then it decides.
๐จ A dangerous mistake:
Donโt place a Stop Loss randomly near a clear high or low just because youโve heard about โstop hunting.โ
The market may actually break the level and continue.
Liquidity isnโt a magical theory that explains every candle.
๐ Atlas Rule:
โDonโt just ask: Where can the price go?
Also ask: Where are the areas that may attract interest and large orders?โ
Then wait for the price action instead of trying to predict it.
๐ก๏ธ Risk Management:
Understanding liquidity doesnโt eliminate losses.
Donโt enter just because you see a sweep, and donโt use leverage to compensate for an uncertain analysis.
