According to CNBC, Nvidia rose 1.3% Friday, lifting its market value to just under $5.7 trillion and helping the Nasdaq-100 Index close at a new record. The stock's move ended seven weeks of sideways trading around a high-stakes meeting between the president and corporate executives leading "Super Intelligence." Based on options pricing, Nvidia has about a 50% chance of reaching a $6 trillion valuation by the end of this month, a 13% chance of doing so this week, and roughly a 67% chance of hitting that level by Dec. 18. The options market is also implying about a one-in-sixteenth chance the company could reach $7 trillion by Nov. 20, which would require the stock to touch $248. Nvidia accounts for 13% of the Nasdaq and 8% of the S&P 500 Index. Ben Emons, managing director at Highline Asset Management, said Nvidia's buyback announcement stood out and reflected confidence in long-run AI demand.
