Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich said the company net added 1,000 BTC through Bitcoin sales and repurchases in the third quarter, and launched a net interest income strategy. As of October 2024, Metaplanet’s holdings had grown to 1,018.17 BTC, reportedly making it the world’s second-largest publicly listed Bitcoin treasury company.
