#BNB broke above $790 and is still ranked No. 1 on Binance Square’s trending list, but the real new development this time is that after touching an intraday high of $809.99, the latest completed 4-hour candle closed back below $800, making around $790 the level to watch again.

As of October 5 at 16:39 Beijing time, Binance spot BNBUSDT was at $790.43, up just 0.198% over the rolling 24 hours. The window’s high was $809.99 and its low was $785.42, with approximately $113.1 million in quote volume. The price had pulled back about 2.41% from the high by the time of data collection. This only shows that trades reached $809.99 during those 24 hours; the trending-list headline should not be read as “price is now holding above $790” or “a break above $800 is confirmed.”

The completed periods make things clearer: the 4-hour candle from 08:00 to 12:00 Beijing time reached a high of $809.99 and closed at $792.15; the next one, from 12:00 to 16:00, closed at $791.82. Neither closed above $800, and the second closed $0.33 lower than the first. These candles support the description “pulled back after a rally,” but they do not prove that $800 has become long-term resistance—the sample consists of only two windows. The latest hourly candle, from 16:00 to 17:00, was still incomplete at 16:39, when the quote was $790.43 and the range was $790.10–$793.27; an unfinished candle should not be treated as a closing price.

Compared with this account’s earlier post at 06:38, 373810381041402, the key new information is not a repetition of “the hourly candle closed above $790,” but the subsequent high of $809.99, the fact that the 4-hour candle in which it occurred ultimately closed at $792.15, and the next completed 4-hour candle’s close at $791.82. Price did move above $800, but the period closes did not confirm the breakout; the current price remains slightly above $790. The rolling 24-hour low of $785.42 is also a reminder that $790 is not fixed support. Quote volume is the total matched value of buyers’ and sellers’ trades; by itself, it cannot identify aggressive buying or explain what catalyzed the move. These Binance spot data also do not represent perpetual futures positions.

For now, all that is needed is to wait for the complete 4-hour candle from 16:00 to 20:00 to close, then check again using the same spot-market basis. Until then, intraday prices and period closes should be viewed separately. Data was collected at 16:39 BJT; the window and quotes will continue to change.
