🚨 DRIFT hack victims can finally start claiming compensation!
Victims of the Drift exploit in April 2026 can now claim DFX compensation tokens. The attack caused confirmed losses of around $295.4M, while the initial compensation pool contained around $3.11M.
At launch, each 1 DFX represented $1 of confirmed losses, but the initial redemption value was only around $0.0104 per DFX — a recovery of roughly 1 cent for every $1 lost. Users can redeem or sell their DFX, or hold onto them in anticipation of greater compensation in the future as the pool receives additional funding.
⚠️ Important: Redeeming DFX burns the tokens, meaning users forfeit their share of any future compensation funding allocated to those tokens.
