🚨 Victims of the Drift hack are finally starting to receive compensation!
In April, Drift suffered a large-scale attack, with losses of around $299.5 million. Starting October 1, eligible users can claim DFX Recovery Tokens and take part in the recovery mechanism.
Each DFX represents $1 in verified losses, with a maximum supply of around 299.5 million DFX.
But it’s important to understand:
⚠️ 1 DFX does not mean you can receive $1 right away.
The Recovery Pool currently holds only around 3.1 million USDT, so in the initial phase, each DFX is worth only about 0.01 USDT. As the Recovery Pool receives more funds, users may gradually recover their assets.
So what does this mean for DRIFT?
In my view, this is primarily a sign that confidence is recovering—not yet a reason to turn immediately bullish.
After the hack, the market is most interested in:
📌 Will the Recovery Pool keep growing steadily?
📌 How much will victims ultimately recover?
📌 Will Drift’s activity and revenue rebound?
📌 Will DRIFT rise alongside trading volume?
If the Recovery Pool grows, confidence returns, and DRIFT breaks out with volume, then the story becomes more compelling.
News is a catalyst. Capital flows are the foundation. Price is the confirmation signal.
Don’t FOMO just because compensation has started. Wait for the market to prove it through action.
No trading calls, no trade recommendations. Just sharing trading logic and market views.
