The very purpose behind launching many tokens is essentially to dump them.

The project teams never intended to pump the price in the first place. Pumping it takes money to buy up tokens, while dumping is much easier—you just sell them off. Once those tokens are dumped, they issue new ones and dump those too.

The most typical example over the past two years is #ACE
They made no effort to pump the price at all, just kept selling throughout the bull market and right into the bear market.

This year's example is #OPN
The community got completely farmed, and KOLs across the board were taken for a ride too. The token has been dumped continuously since launch.

All I can say is, it's hard to know what to say. I sincerely hope the crypto world sees more trustworthy project teams, and more teams that just get on with doing solid work. That's the only way the market environment can improve.
