What investment opportunities are ever truly certain?

Especially when the market has been mired in a prolonged downturn and intense volatility, every buy could be at the peak, and every sell could mean cutting your losses at the bottom.

So-called “certainty” has never meant “this trade is guaranteed to make money.”

There are only a few things that are truly certain:

Bull and bear cycles will keep repeating, liquidity will change, and the market will always create new opportunities.

Losing money on one project doesn’t mean the game is over. As long as you’re still in the game, you may be able to make it back through other opportunities.

The real problem for many people is putting their faith in a single trade: thinking this time it’s guaranteed to rise, this project is bound to succeed, or this is definitely the bottom.

In a bear market, the people who lose the most money are often not those who miss out on opportunities, but those who are too eager to bet everything on a single chance to turn things around.

True certainty isn’t that this trade will make money. It’s being able to stay in the game.

The market never runs out of opportunities. What’s truly scarce is patience and the ability to withstand mistakes.
