Why x13 is not trading, but a lottery 🤔
I often see people enter with leverage x10, x20, x50 and think they are trading. In reality, they’re playing roulette.
With leverage x13, your liquidation happens when the price drops only 7–8%. You won’t even have time to understand what happened before the exchange closes your position. And if you add margin trying to save yourself, you’re just feeding the market.
I went through this myself. First x20, then “I’ll make it back,” then I lost 80% of my deposit. Only after that did I realize that higher leverage doesn’t increase profit. It increases the speed at which you lose.
Now I don’t use leverage above x2. And I never risk more than 2% per trade. Boring? Yeah. But I’m still in the game, not banned by the liquidation guy.
