I took a look at the liquidation data—looks like last Friday’s NFP dump didn’t really lure many people into chasing shorts. The liquidation numbers didn’t move much. It could also be that this small pull-up on Monday wasn’t enough, since we’re still under pressure near the old resistance around 87,000—so are we going to short again out of inertia? The bears might be in for a rough time today! I’m just worried there won’t be any intraday pullback opportunity. Otherwise, you won’t get a chance to jump in on a low-long! That’s exactly why I’ve been emphasizing all the way: don’t exit your position completely—keep a tail position.
For BTC, if you’re aggressive intraday: open your main position directly in the 86,000–85,500 range. Add on near 83,500—this is also an old support zone. For the rebound, watch 87,500, 89,000, and 90,000 as overhead resistance. For swing longs, hold as before with the target at 96,000.
For ETH, if you’re aggressive intraday: go long at 2,700–2,680 for the head position. Place a “needle” (add) long around 2,600. For the rebound, watch 2,770, 2,850, and 3,000 as resistance. For swing longs, hold as before with the target at 3,300.
BTC has a three-day consecutive weekly increase (three straight yang candles). Price is pushing against the upper band upward, widening the “mouth” higher, and indicators are aligned in a bullish configuration. Yesterday’s daily candle closed as a strong bullish candle. Over the past 7 candles, the low points have been stepping higher—“like sesame blossoms one after another”—and both KDJ and RSI have turned upward. On the 4-hour chart, price is pushing the upper band upward and the band is widening; on the 1-hour chart, price has returned to below the upper band, so there may be a short-term pullback correction.
