The PROMPT contract has two deadlines today
Binance announcement schedule: Starting at 16:30 Beijing time today (October 5), PROMPTUSDT will no longer accept new non–reduce-only orders. At 17:00, all positions will be closed and automatically settled, and then the contract will be delisted. The same batch also includes PUMPBTCUSDT and 1000000BOBUSDT. This refers to U-margined perpetual contracts, so you should not infer that spot trading will also be delisted.
For holders of the $PROMPT contracts, besides remembering 17:00, also pay attention to the final hour starting at 16:00. The announcement is explicit: in this hour, the insurance fund will not be used to support the liquidation process for this contract. If liquidation orders fail to sufficiently reduce the position to meet the maintenance margin requirement, the remaining portion may be processed via auto deleveraging (ADL).
You can now check your positions, open (unfilled) orders, and any automatic strategies on the contract page to confirm whether you still have exposure to these contracts, and then arrange your handling. As settlement approaches, liquidity may decline and slippage may increase.
