$BTC added +2.2% to ~86.6k; price is currently above both the EMA20 and EMA50 on the 1H chart — the short-term trend still leans toward the bulls. But the 1H RSI has reached 86.5, i.e., an extremely overbought zone — chasing the top right now is risky.
$ETH also is green +1.4% at 2,730, with RSI 72.8 — strong, but similarly stretched.
Today’s bright spots are mid-cap altcoins: GTC +82%, BEAMX +19.5%, ORCA +17.3%, FET +15.4% with volume near 40M. Even ADA popped +8.2% with volume of 55M. On the flip side: GLMR -9.5% and MOVR -9.8% cooled off after a strong late-week run.
Technical view of BTC: strong support sits around the EMA50 ~85.2k, resistance is right at the latest high near 86.8k. Two scenarios for the next 18h:
• A clean breakout above 86.8k with volume → test 88–88.5k
• Overbought RSI forces a pullback → fall to 85.2–85.6k and then bounce back
