Aptos Governance Proposal #206 is currently being voted on, proposing to enable ChunkyDKG V1 full mode and the encrypted_transactions feature. This mechanism will use distributed key generation to support encrypted transactions, hiding their contents before they enter consensus ordering, and then having validators collaboratively decrypt them afterward. This helps reduce frontrunning and MEV risk. The proposal vote will end on October 6. Currently, the approval rate is close to 100%, but the turnout is only 2.69%, which has not yet met the required quorum of 24.8%.
