This move isn’t simple.

$GTC surged 46% straight up, with $9.4 million in trading volume. The volume expansion is huge. If the market cap isn’t that large, how could it jump like this—who else would pull it if not the whales/market makers? I looked around and didn’t see anything like a real, solid catalyst. On Twitter it’s all “Go! Go! Go!” type of trade calls. Either there was internal info and someone ran early, or it’s purely a game of capital. When small coins suddenly spike, anyone chasing in is very likely the one left holding the bag. The market makers shake out some greens and then leave.

Let’s talk about $NFP too—down 65% in a single day, and the price basically got slashed. I’ve seen crashes, but I’ve never seen one so clean and decisive. Either the project team bailed, or there’s a major issue with the contracts. The trading volume is still 3.8 million, which suggests liquidity is still there, but at this level—who would dare to take the risk? Bottom-fishing? You’d be catching a falling knife.

VIC is also down 43%, and VANRY down 37%. These smaller coins are moving together and dumping like this—there’s definitely a reason behind it. Either a big position got liquidated, or overall liquidity is tightening.

Bitcoin, though, is holding up. Consolidation with reduced volume above 86,000, and the perpetual contract funding rate is 0.006—still decent enough. The overall market hasn’t fully collapsed; these small coins are basically just self-destructing.

Honestly, with this kind of market, don’t touch small caps. Altcoins spend all day in the ICU, and it’s basically party time for the chaos—this isn’t a game for humans.

Do you think this GTC move is worth chasing?
