Usa Rare Earth Inc. is currently in a legal dispute over patents concerning the manufacturing of magnets with MP Materials. The question now is: is this a buying opportunity? I decide to believe that yes.
Once the litigation disappears, the discount that has affected the stock price will also disappear.
We must not forget that rare earths are a protected industry that is gaining more and more weight in the USA. Even both companies are partly owned by the American government—10% and 15% respectively.
That leads me to think that the lawsuit will be resolved out of court, and at that moment the rebound could take the stock to 17~18 dollars.
