🇻🇪Date: Venezuela is on the list of the best universities in Latin America and the Caribbean 2027

The study by the British firm Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) takes into account academic performance, research, and employability in the region for the different universities.

Below are the Venezuelan universities that appear in the 2027 ranking:

– The Central University of Venezuela (UCV) holds the 38th position in the ranking, with an overall score of 68.1 out of 100; academic reputation is 78.1; reputation among employers is 91.6; and the student-to-faculty ratio is 87.4.

– Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB) is positioned as the second best in Venezuela and in the list it ranks 81st in the region, achieving a global score of 53.3. Regarding reputation, it obtained 81 points; for employability it had 96.6; and for academic reputation it obtained 81 points.

– Simón Bolívar University (USB) is in 84th place on the list and received an overall score of 52.4 points. Academic reputation is 57.6 points, while the employer assessment is 76.4 points.

– The University of the Andes (ULA) in Mérida is in 95th place, with an overall score of 49.4 and an academic reputation of 62.5 points.

– Metropolitana University (Unimet) is in the range between 171 and 180, with an academic reputation of 37.8 points and an employer reputation of 33.4 points.

– University of Zulia (LUZ) is at 145, while University of Carabobo (UC) is situated within the block between slots 201 and 250
