I thought for a long time that $ETH and $SOL in staking differ mainly by just one digit of the yield 😅
But when I started looking deeper, it turned out the difference is much more interesting.
What I pay attention to:
🔹 ETH — a larger ecosystem, strong decentralization, and a large number of stakable coins.
🔹 SOL — a simpler entry threshold for delegation, with an emphasis on speed and low fees.
🔹 Higher potential yield by itself still doesn’t mean it’s the better option. It’s important to see where that yield comes from and what risks lie behind it.
🔹 And most importantly — I wouldn’t choose between ETH and SOL based on just one metric. For me, network reliability, liquidity, and how comfortable I feel with the risk matter more.
My conclusion: ETH is more about the maturity of the ecosystem, SOL — about dynamics and efficiency. But there is no universal winner here.
And what do you choose for staking ??????? 👇
