🌙 My end-of-day recap | BTC on Sunday only moved less than 1,000 points, yet this day is more worth reviewing than big rallies and crashes
Closed at around 85,200. The 24-hour range was from 84,504 to 85,468, with volume less than one-third of Thursday’s.
Before the Monday open, I want to seriously talk about what I got right and wrong today.
✅ What I got right today:
· Weekend liquidity is thin, leading to tight-range consolidation: the 24-hour swing was only about 960 points
· The 87,000 level was hard to get past: this is the third time in two weeks it has been rejected nearby
❌ What I didn’t follow through on today:
· On the 4-hour chart, I said, "Hold above 85,390 to target 86,000." BTC rose to 85,468 and then pulled back—didn’t hold
· The vote’s two levels—86,000 and 84,500—were both not reached today
📖 My stance: A tight range doesn’t equal safety. With ten consecutive daily doji candles and such low volume, I don’t dare call a direction here. I’d rather wait for a breakout confirmation.
🔮 Key points for Monday:
· 22:00 US Sep ISM Services (forecast around 55.2, prior 55.4)—focus on price action and the employment sub-component
· 2:00 early Thursday morning: release of the Fed’s Sep meeting minutes
🎯 Key levels for tomorrow: resistance at 85,468 and 87,239; support at 85,043 and 84,504
Where do you think BTC will break first tomorrow? Comment A (up) / B (down) 👇
