If you’re looking for a project that could produce 100X, I don’t think you should only look at whether it’s hot right now.
What really needs to be looked at is:
Is the market enough large?
Can the product be deployed in the real world?
Is there real revenue?
Does the token economy track internet growth?
And most importantly—does the current valuation have the possibility of being undervalued for the future?
Using this logic to look back at $IO, I actually think it deserves to be on the observation list.
🔥 First key: AI computing power—could be the next big supermarket
Everyone has heard the story of AI.
But when you take it apart further, you’ll find:
Model → needs training
Agent → needs inference
AI applications → requires continuous operations
Large models → require a lot of GPU
So the more AI develops, the greater the underlying demand for GPU compute power.
And what io.net is doing is integrating globally distributed GPU compute power and providing it for AI/ML workloads.
What really attracts me about this direction isn’t the hot label “AI.”
but it’s also this:
What it solves is a real infrastructure problem.
⚡ Second key point: it’s not just a story—it already has revenue data
This is the one thing I see that $IO values the most.
io.net officially released in October 2025 that the network has already surpassed $20 million in annualized on-chain revenue. (io.net)
Note:
What I’m talking about here is annualized on-chain revenue, not net profit.
But for a DePIN project, this is still a very worth watching signal:
At least someone is genuinely paying for compute power.
This is completely different from the logic of manufacturing “false prosperity” purely through token incentives.
💎 Third key point: token economics starts to connect with real usage
In 2026, io.net’s Incentive Dynamic Engine (IDE) is fundamentally about linking token economics more directly to actual GPU usage and network revenue.
The official design right now is:
Suppliers get paid first
↓
Deduct supplier-related expenses
↓
At least 50% of remaining network revenue is used for $IO buybacks/burns
↓
The long-term goal is to remove more than 150 million $IO tokens
That is:
Increased usage → increased network revenue → increased burn → circulating supply is put under pressure
This link between “Revenue → Token Economics” is, in my view, the most important thing about $IO to keep tracking. (io.net)
📊 The fourth key point: with today’s valuation, is there really room for imagination?
As of October 3, 2026, CoinGecko shows $IO’s market cap is about $63.26 million. (CoinGecko)
Let’s do a very simple “odds thinking.”
Assume that one day in the future:
$IO market cap → $1 billion
About 16 times the current figure.
If you can do that:
$IO market cap → $3 billion
About 47 times the current figure.
If you can do that:
$IO market cap → $5 billion
About 79 times the current figure.
and if one day we truly reach:
🔥 $6.3 billion market cap
The theoretical market cap would be about 100 times what it is today.
Note: I’m not saying it will definitely reach $6.3 billion.
And it’s not saying that $IO must be 100x.
I just want to think this way:
If today’s valuation is only about $63 million, then what kind of valuation does the market need to give it in the future to generate truly massive returns?
This is the real question that “a 100x coin” should be thinking about.
🚨 Of course, a 100x increase also means a 100x risk.
If $IO wants to reach a higher valuation, it must prove many things:
Can GPU usage continue to increase?
Can AI customers keep coming in continuously?
Can network revenue grow?
Can the cluster handle larger AI workloads?
Can token burn truly create long-term supply-demand improvement?
Most importantly:
Can io.net truly secure a place in the AI infrastructure market?
If the answer is YES,
Then today’s $IO might only be priced by the market that hasn’t fully priced in the future yet.
But if the answer is NO,
Then even the prettiest 100x model is just an Excel spreadsheet.
💎 So when I look at $IO, it’s not because “it will definitely be 100x.”
It’s because I like researching things like this:
Small market cap × big sector × real demand × improved token economics × already has revenue
the project.
This is what I understand as the “100x coin logic.”
It’s not about seeing one token and shouting “100x.”
then first ask:
“If it really becomes an important player in AI infrastructure, is today’s market cap still there to be massively repriced?”
If you’re also looking for the next AI × DePIN dark horse,
$IO is at least worth adding to your research list.
🔥 Real 100x opportunities often don’t appear only after the market has already understood them.
And before the market fully believes it,
you’ve already started researching it.
