According to CNBC, Chick-fil-A CEO Andrew Cathy said the privately held chicken chain had a good year, with franchise disclosures showing 2025 revenue rose 14% to $10.3 billion and net income increased 1% to $1.05 billion. The company’s roughly 3,000 locations generated $23.92 billion in system sales last year, and Cathy said Chick-fil-A has no plans for an initial public offering or outside investment, instead sticking with “calculated” and “conservative” growth.

Cathy said Chick-fil-A opened 179 restaurants last year and has expanded into international markets including Canada, Singapore and the United Kingdom. He also said the company is exploring artificial intelligence behind the scenes but will not use AI voice ordering in drive-thru lanes, preferring human-to-human service. Chick-fil-A is also balancing its core menu and service model with new concepts through Red Wagon Ventures, including Daybright and other experimental businesses.
